Origen
Labradors were originally bred as hunting dogs. They flushed out game and retrieved the game for the hunter. As time has gone on families have fallen in love with Labradors because they are incredibly friendly and a very playful nature. They are also very good with children. The origin of the dog is hard to place but it is believed the breed started in the 1700´s in Newfoundland and made their way to England some time in the mid to late 1800´s. They were originally known as the St. John's Dog.
