The most decisive time is the first six months. He will learn everything you let him do. It is critical to teach him good manners. You want the puppy to be sociable, but you also want him to behave. They can easily learn things when they are little, so it is of crucial importance to teach them the basic things during this period.

The following six moths are important for the dog to learn how to be obedient. Continue practising daily retrieves because this will keep the attitude towards the training process. It is not incorrect to be demanding, but at the end of these practices, you may give him a small reward, just to keep him amused and eager for his next training session.

As time goes by, you can become more and more demanding. And you can expect your dog to follow suit if you followed the previous steps correctly.

Originally used for hunting, or chasing purposes, as it name mentions, Golden Retrievers were also used for company and even security purposes. They are believed to come from Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador, both provinces. Of course, they are also related to Newfoundlands, but they differentiated from these animals by their name.

They were also used for fishing purposes, they assisted fishermen with nets. They are always ready to give love and affection without hesitation

They are predominantly athletic but only if trained and educated properly. If not, they may easily turn into a couch potato.
